Power-One Announces Fourth Quarter Earnings

Camarillo-based power conversions manufacturer, Power-One, Inc. announced losses of $9.1 million, or $0.11 per share, for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2004, ended December 31. In contrast, the company reported losses of $10.4 million, or $0.12 a share, for their comparable period in 2003. Power-One reported a seven percent increase in revenue this quarter, selling $71.9 million, compared to $67.0 million for the fourth quarter of 2004. For the 2004 fiscal year, net loss was $21.2 million, or 0.25 per share, compared with a net loss of $18.2 million, or $0.22 per share, in the 2003 fiscal year. For the first quarter of 2005, the company anticipates that sales will be in the range of $65 million, plus or minus five percent, and that net loss will be in the range of $0.10 to $0.12 per share.
