Sun Valley-based PMC Global has sold its subsidiary, Gusmer Corp., to Graco, Inc. for $45 million cash. In a related transaction, Graco also acquired the stock of Gusmer Europe S.L., based in Vilanova, Spain for $20 million cash. Gusmer Corp. and Gusmer Europe S.L. had combined sales of approximately $43 million in 2004. PMC, a closely held conglomerate, owns and operates over 30 companies in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronics, machinery and plastics worldwide. Gusmer Corp., a manufacturer of plural component fluid dispensing equipment is based in Lakewood, New Jersey. Founded in 1961, Gusmer employs 250 people worldwide.
