Diodes Predicts Fourth Quarter Revenue Drop

Westlake Village-based semiconductor manufacturer, Diodes, has updated its fourth quarter guidance. The company announced that revenue for the fourth quarter of 2004 will be approximately three percent lower sequentially from the record revenue of $49.4 million reported in the third quarter. The company now expects that its fourth quarter gross profit margin will be similar to the 33.9 percent reported in the third quarter. Diodes plans to distribute its official earnings announcement on February 7, at 6:00 a.m., Pacific Time. It will also host a conference call to discuss the fourth quarter and year-end 2004 results at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time, on that same day.
