IHOP Corp. has signed up 10 new franchisees, agreements that will result in an additional 46 IHOP stores over the next 11 years, the company said today. IHOP’s recent agreements will add new units in Alabama, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wisconsin. Glendale-based IHOP had signed or optioned agreements for franchisees to develop a total of 377 new IHOP restaurants over the next 11 years as of the end of the third quarter of 2005. Including agreements the company is currently completing, IHOP said it expects to have 428 restaurants in the pipeline.
