National Technical Systems Inc., a Calabasas-based provider of testing services for information technology markets, reported a 95 percent in earnings to $1.2 million, or $0.12 per share on sales of $28.8 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2006. National Technical Systems earned $588,000, or $0.06 per share on sales of $25.5 million for the same period in 2005. For the fiscal year 2006, earnings rose to $2.9 million, or $0.30 per share on sales of $111.5 million due to strong revenues in the aerospace/defense and telecommunications markets. For the prior year earnings were $1.7 million, or $0.18 per share on revenues of $106.5 million.
