Sherman Oaks-based Earl Scheib, Inc. in partnership with California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District will provide free consultation services to auto body and paint businesses that need to cut down emission of air contaminants. Christian K. Bement, president and CEO of Earl Scheib said, “We believe that sharing our know-how with others in our industry will not only help improve air quality in Southern California but also help improve the image of the auto paint and body industry.” In the past, the auto paint and body shop operator has received energy conservation awards such as the NPCA’s Industry Achievement Award and Paint Pollution Protection Award. In a statement, Bement said that the partnership with the government agency and environmental management is a “corporate priority”. Earl Scheib, founded in 1937 operates 102 auto paint and body shops nationwide.
