Rosali Cleaners Introduces New Cleaning Process

North Hollywood-based Rosali Cleaners has introduced a new environmentally-safe cleaning process. The technique uses carbon dioxide liquefied under pressure to clean clothing, avoiding the use of toxic chemicals or solvents. Co-owners Eartha Braithwaite and Lana Pena were recognized by representatives from the Southern California Air Quality Management District for being the first cleaners in the state to use the carbon dioxide process. The equipment delivers a superior cleaning process without fading, shrinking or damaging garments, Braithwaite said. “We are excited about our new service,” Braithwaite added. “We believe that the benefits offered by the new equipment extend far beyond long term environmental gains.” Rosali opened in late 2004 and has been honored for eco-friendly practices.
