21st Century Insurance Group said yesterday that it has fired Lawrence P. Bascom, senior vice president and CFO due to differences in management style. Bascom had been with 21st Century since 2004. His termination is effective April 7. The Woodland Hills-based company said it is commencing a search for Bascom’s replacement. Several weeks ago, 21st Century promoted Jesus Zaragoza to the post of vice president and controller, reporting to Bascom. He was previously assistant vice president.
