Camarillo-based Advanced Photonix announced it has received approvals for tax abatements from the City of Ann Arbor, Mich. in anticipation of the relocation of its corporate headquarters. The company is planning to consolidate its semiconductor micro-fabrication operations and relocate its corporate office to Ann Arbor within the next twelve months. The company expects to create 68 news jobs in Michigan over 10 years. The Ann Arbor City Council approved a personal property tax abatement for the consolidation of wafer fabrication and corporate office relocation that could be worth as much as $94,000 over the five-year abatement.
