Semtech Corp., supplier of semiconductors headquartered in Camarillo, received a letter from the Securities and Exchange Commission requesting that it provide information regarding stock options granted since January 1, 1997. Semtech plans to cooperate with the SEC’s inquiry, which was dated May 18, the company said. Semtech was one of 30 public companies discussed in a report released May 16, 2006, regarding the timing of stock option grants from 1997 to 2002. The report referenced grants from Semtech done in 1997, one in 1999 and one in 2002.
