Six Flags Inc., parent company for Six Flags Magic Mountain, said it was changing its ticker symbol to SIX effective June 5. The theme park operator had traded under the symbol PKS, which reflected the name of the company that acquired Six Flags from an investor group, Premier Parks, in 1999. The name was changed to Six Flags in 2000. This year the company marks its 45th anniversary. Six Flags trades on the New York Stock Exchange.
