The Woodland Hills managed health company Health Net Inc. reported that its third quarter net income increased to $90.9 million, or $0.76 per diluted share, a 13.4 percent increase from third quarter 2005. Earnings were also up 16 percent, an increase the company credited to a jump in revenue for its health plans. Revenue totaled $3.25 billion for the quarter, up from $3.06 billion from the same 2005 quarter.
