American Guardian Home Loans said it opened a Los Angeles regional headquarters office in Encino. “Despite forecasts of a down-turning market, we have seen an increase in demand for more flexible loan products that can accommodate the needs of non-traditional borrowers and create a mutually beneficial relationship between borrowers and lenders,” said Kamran Khosravi, president of American Guardian, in a statement. The Orange County-based wholesale mortgage lender specializing in Alt-A and non-prime products formed in 1998 is licensed in nine states. It works primarily with mortgage brokers and homebuilders.
