Comerica Bank has named business development officers for three of its SBA lending offices. David Gonzalez, who will be based in Sherman Oaks, will oversee the effort for the San Fernando Valley. Gonzalez joined the bank from Business Partners LLC, a venture capital firm in Los Angeles. He has also held similar positions at Union Bank of California. Comerica also named Gamaliel Padilla business development officer for Long Beach and Miguel Juarez business development officer based in downtown Los Angeles. Comerica is a preferred SBA lender. The bank’s Western Market division recorded assets of about $16.64 billion as of June 30.
