JetDirect Aviation has signed on as a marketing partner of the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, it was announced Tuesday. JetDirect owns Spirit Aviation, an aircraft management and charter company at Van Nuys Airport. The partnership with the commission is an opportunity for JetDirect to grow its consumer base through networking, marketing and community involvement, said Mark Schmaltz, vice president and chief operating officer for the western region, in a statement. “We look forward to the benefits of being associated with the organization’s first rate activities and we are proud to work with LASEC in their goal of attracting major sporting and entertainment events to Los Angeles,” Schmaltz said.
