Amgen’s Ireland Project Delayed

A construction delay has stalled the opening of $1.1 billion manufacturing plant built by Thousand Oaks drug maker Amgen in Ireland. The facility in Cork was slated to open in 2010 but has been delayed until at least 2012 because of a construction delay, the Irish Examiner newspaper reported Tuesday.
