First Commerce Bancorp reported net income rose to $815,000 for the quarter ended Mar. 31, compared to earnings of $693,000 for the same period last year. Assets rose 12 percent to $274.4 million from $244 million in the comparable year ago period. Deposits rose 10 percent to $240.2 million and net loans increased 29 percent to $218 million from the comparable period a year ago.
