North Hollywood-based The Hospitalist Co. has acquired Magna Care Hospitalists of Macon, Ga. The companies would not disclose the terms of the deal. The practice includes seven doctors and one nurse practitioner. The Hospitalist Co. manages practices at 200 facilities in 15 states. It is the company’s first acquisition in Georgia.
