Health Net of California is providing a no-interest loan to Tulare County health clinics Tipton Medical and Pixley Medical, both of which shut down because the state’s budget delay interrupted Medi-Cal funding. “Health Net’s no-interest loan is a Godsend,” said Linda Roberts, RN, owner/administrator of the Tipton and Pixley Medical Clinics. “This allows us to continue serving our patients and the community at large.” Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger praised Health Net for providing the financing and urged passage of the budget which is six weeks overdue.
