The government operations division of Woodland Hills-based Health Net Inc. extended its contract with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs to provide services in the Southeastern United States. The contract between Health Net Federal Services LLC and the VA lasts through Sept. 2008, with options for two additional years. Discount agreements provided by Health Net allows Veterans Administration medical centers in Florida, Puerto Rico and southern Georgia to save money for various health care services, including hospitalization, outpatient care, ambulatory surgery, and behavioral health.
