Arete Associates, a science and engineering company in Sherman Oaks, has selected Heery International to design its new Northridge headquarters. Arete is moving to an 80,000-square-foot headquarters in Northridge, nearly doubling in size from its current facility. Heery, with offices in Long Beach and Los Angeles, manages more than $1 billion in construction projects in Southern California. The new Arete headquarters will include a library and large training and conference rooms and requires strict security provisions due to the nature of the work performed there for defense and other clients.
