So it turns out shoppers aren’t such early risers after all. After moving to extend Saturday hours by opening at 8 a.m., Northridge Fashion Center has moved its Saturday shopping hours back to a 10 a.m. opening time. The move was made after observing shopping patterns post-holiday for about four weekends, the shopping center officials said. General Growth, which owns Northridge Fashion Center, had initially decided to retain the extended hours it implemented over the holiday shopping season, but found shoppers were not showing up as early as they did once the holiday passed. Later closing times, however, remain in effect.
