Software Firm’s Income Doubles

Simulations Plus Inc. reported net income more than doubled to $782,000 or $0.09 per share on revenues of $2,631,000 for the third fiscal quarter ended May 31. The results compare with net income of $386,000 or $0.05 per diluted share on revenues of $1,788,000 for the same period last year. Simulations Plus, a provider of software for pharmaceutical discovery and development based in Lancaster, said that the strong results included several large orders that were received in the period. The company said it is actively seeking acquisitions, but has no assurances that it will proceed with any of the opportunities it is reviewing.
