IHOP Corp. reported same store sales rose 2.5 percent in the fiscal second quarter. The Glendale-based restaurant operator saw same store sales rise 1.6 percent for the fiscal first half. IHOP said traffic declined in the second quarter, however menu price increases in 2006 contributed to the sales bump. IHOP maintained its guidance for same store growth in the range of 2 percent to 4 percent for the full year.
