Kreido Signs Agreement for Biostock Storage

Camarillo-based Kreido Biofuels, Inc. has entered into a long-term liquids handling agreement with Vopak Terminal North America, Inc. The agreement calls for Vopak to store and transfer Kreido’s raw feedstock, finished products and other liquids associated with biodiesel production. “This contract marks for us a significant step in executing our plan to have our first biodiesel plant operational in the first quarter of 2008,” said Kreido President and CEO Joel Balbien. Kreido has optioned port land adjacent to the Vopak terminal. Vopak will provide the storage of Kreido’s biodiesel, glycerin and refined oil feedstock as well as the loading and unloading of the materials. Vopak will also be responsible for providing for the liquids pipeline transport to be constructed between Kreido’s facility and Vopak’s terminal.
