AML Communications, Inc. reported a 30 percent drop in its net profits for the 2007 fiscal year. The Camarillo-based designer and manufacturer for the defensive microwave markets reported a net profit of $1.6 million, or $0.15 per diluted share, on revenues of $8.9 million for the fiscal year ending March 31. That is a decrease from the net profit of $2.2 million, or $0.21 per diluted share, on revenues of $9.5 million for the previous fiscal year.
