Warner Bros. Studios and its fire department hosted a lunch June 8 at the Ranch facility in Burbank for the Firefighters Quest for Burn Survivors. The Quest rally travels through several Southern California cities to 105 locations, stopping at fire and law enforcement facilities and private institutions to collect donations used to assist survivors of significant burn injuries and their families, as well as burn centers, foundations and association. Wells Donates to Pierce Wells Fargo Bank donated $5,000 to Pierce College as part of its commitment to support the communities it serves. Wells Fargo recently opened its new Ventura Oakdale banking store in Woodland Hills. As part of the celebration, the Pierce College Symphonic Winds band performed and Pierce College student artwork was displayed throughout the banking store. More than 150 people, including community and business leaders, attended the grand opening celebration on June 19. The new banking store is located at 19900 Ventura Boulevard. Ads for Public Counsel The Inter/Media Foundation will provide public service announcements for print and broadcast for Public Counsel, the largest pro bono public interest law firm in the world.
