Transit usage in Thousand Oaks increased 13 percent in 2006 from a year ago, the city announced. Ridership totaled 177,000 for 2006 for the Thousand Oaks Transit system, which includes five routes in Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Newbury Park. In January, ridership increased 8 percent to 16,000 passengers.
