Crown Reups With Cable Cooperative

Studio City-based Crown Media Holdings Inc. renewed an agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative, the company announced Wednesday. The move will keep Crown’s Hallmark Channel available to the 1,100 member companies of the cooperative. The agreement follows renewals to make the Hallmark Channel available through Echostar and Mediacom. “This agreement reflects both NCTC’s and Hallmark Channel’s emphasis on quality, fair price and service to our respective subscribers and viewers,” said Henry Schleiff, president and CEO of Crown, in a statement. The NCTC is a not-for-profit programming and hardware purchasing cooperative whose member companies serve a combined 12 million subscribers.
