Strong demand for semiconductor testing services contributed to Trio-Tech International posting a net income for the first quarter of fiscal 2008. The Van Nuys-based designer and manufacturer of semiconductor testing systems reported a net income of $751,000, or $0.23 per diluted share, on revenues of $12 million for the quarter ending Sept. 30. That is a drop of less than 1 percent from the net income of 756,000, or $0.23 per diluted share, on revenues of $9.9 million for the same period in 2006. Revenue increase reflects increase in demand for Trio-Tech’s semiconductor burn-in systems primarily from customers in Asia.
