A federal jury ruled that a competitor infringed on the patents held by power conversion product manufacturer Power-One Inc. The Camarillo-based company filed suit in 2005 against Artesyn Technologies for infringing two of its patents by making, selling, using and offering to sell a new type of digital power converter. Artesyn is part of network power business unit of Emerson Electric Co.
