Ken Hitts is stepping down as director of Economic and Business Development at the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley to be the economic development manager for the City of Glendale. His last day will be Nov. 19. “It’s our loss,” said Economic Alliance head Bruce Ackerman. “It’s the City of Glendale’s gain. The good news is he’s still in our backyard.” Hitts was on staff at the Economic Alliance for two years. On his upcoming switch to the City of Glendale, Hitts said, “I’m looking forward to the challenge of working in a city that has a lot of attributes that can be further enhanced and built upon.”
