Teledyne Subsidiaries Make Acquisitions

Subsidiaries of Teledyne Technologies Inc. made acquisitions of companies making interconnect products. The terms of the buyouts of Storm Products Co. and Impulse Enterprise were not disclosed. The acquisition by Teledyne Reynolds Inc. of Storm complements Teledyne’s existing microwave components and defense interconnect product lines. Storm had revenue of $45.7 million for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2007. The company has facilities in Santa Clara, Texas and Illinois. Impulse, based in San Diego, makes underwater electrical interconnection systems. The company had sales of $16.8 million for its fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2006. “Following the acquisition of Storm and the acquisition of assets of Impulse Enterprise, Teledyne’s annualized sales of harsh environment interconnect products are expected to be approximately $200 million,” said Teledyne Technologies Chairman, President and CEO Robert Mehrabian.
