A subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Inc. has acquired a British company that designs and manufactures sensors and monitoring systems used in oil and gas production systems. The terms of the deal between Teledyne Limited and Cormon Limited and Cormon Technology Limited were not disclosed. The Cormon acquisition adds unique sensor technology to Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne’s growing marine instrumentation businesses, said Chairman, President and CEO Robert Mehrabian. Subsea sensors and flow integrity monitoring systems are designed to accelerate hydrocarbon production, reduce operating costs and extend asset life for oil and gas operators and processors.
