Hospital makes its move

From outside the steel-beamed, glass Kaiser Permanente building, it is nearly impossible to tell what is going on inside. It is quite apparent that people are moving in. In most of the offices, which will house more than 1,000 employees, moving boxes are makeshift file cabinets, the paint is wet in some places, and many offices have yet to be furnished. By the beginning of next year, Burbank businesses may feel a boost in revenue after the Kaiser Permanente employees relocate from Glendale and Pasadena administrative offices to a new building, which is within a few blocks of the Bob Hope Airport.
