Daily Grill’s Executive Team Takes Pay Cut

The executive team of Grill Concepts in Woodland Hills, parent company of Daily Grill and Grill at the Alley, will take a voluntary 10 percent pay cut. Philip Gay, president and CEO, said that this step is being taken save money and maintain the standard of service at the restaurant. If the state of the economy turns around, however, the pay cuts will cease, and team members will be adequately compensated. “This is a difficult time in our nation’s history and all of us have to make sacrifices,” said Gay. “Our family of employees is of utmost value to all of us and we want to make sure that we do everything in our power to ride out these uncertain times without having to take drastic measures.” Grill Concepts owns, manages and licenses 32 upscale casual and fine dining, full service restaurants under two core brand names: The Grill on the Alley and Daily Grill; as well as a newly launched quick casual concept named In Short Order — Daily Grill.
