Provision Receives New Patents

Provision Interactive Technologies has received a patent for a device to improve image quality and reduce the costs of its 3D projection system. The patent for what the Chatsworth-based company dubs “HoloVision” expands Provision’s product line into new markets. Provision develops and makes 3D holographic displays for commercial and consumer uses. Provision has filed for six new patents and has several already pending in Europe, and was notified of approval of four patents in China. “China clearly represents a huge opportunity for us, and we want to be ready when we go there,” said company President and CEO Curt Thornton. “These four patents will protect Provision and its product line as China continues to develop the integrity of its intellectual property legal system.” Mark R.
