AML Communications Inc. has signed a merger agreement with Microsemi Corp., a semiconductor and mixed signal products manufacturer. Microsemi will acquire all shares in Camarillo-based AML for $2.50. AML had been waiting to close on another merger deal with Anaren Inc. when Microsemi made its offer. Anaren failed to make a counter-offer in the required three day period resulting in AML’s board recommending its share holders accept the Microsemi offer. Anaren had offered to acquire AML at $2.15 per share. AML is a manufacturer of subassemblies and microwave amplifiers for the defense and aerospace markets. Mark R. Madler
