Image Entertainment Inc. will make a select number of its films available through Zune Video Marketplace, a digital distributor owned by Microsoft. An agreement between Chatsworth-based Image and Zune includes viewing films on Xbox LIVE, Windows-based PCs, and Windows Phone. “Image Entertainment is a leading supplier of films, filmed music and stand-up comedy to the digital market,” said Image Vice Chairman John Hyde. “We are excited to have Zune as an additional way for our customers to enjoy the home digital experience.” Among the Image films available on Zune are “The Way Back, Gun” with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and “The Resident” featuring Hilary Swank and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
