Acquisition Includes Two Burbank Companies

Slate Media Group LLC announced Tuesday it acquired to two Burbank post-production facilities. Details of the transaction between Slate Media, which has corporate offices in Burbank, and Telecorps Holdings Inc. were not disclosed. Telecorps is an acquisition company that owned Wexler Video, a long-time Burbank post production house, and Hula Post, which has an office in Burbank. As part of the deal Slate Media also bought a Telecorps-owned business in New York. Wexler Video serves reality television market while Hula Post provides service for the film and television market segment. “Slate’s mission is to provide a broad range of high quality solutions and services to help our clients achieve their creative visions,” said Chairman and CEO David Rosen in a prepared statement. “The combination of these businesses and the talent they represent make that more possible than ever.”
