Calabasas-based Spotlight Ticket Management will provide an online ticket management system to a truck leasing company, Spotlight announced Tuesday. Spotlight’s cloud computing software allows companies to track who they give sports and entertainment tickets to and how much business those being entertained contribute to the company. Penske Truck Leasing, a truck and fleet leasing company located outside Philadelphia, uses about 4,000 sports tickets a year to build business relationships with current and prospective clients, according to a news release announcing the deal. “Because sports entertainment is an important element of our marketing mix, we needed the ability to measure those efforts,” Jim Feenstra, senior vice president of marketing at Penske, said in a statement. Last month, Spotlight announced the Sacramento Kings chose its technology for its corporate suite holders.
