Radio news station KNX 1070 will broadcast from an Encino restaurant on Dec. 9 to kick off a new series spotlighting communities in Southern California. KNX on Your Corner focuses on local history and the variety of businesses found along the Ventura Boulevard commercial corridor. On-air personalities joined by community leaders and area residents will broadcast from Jerry’s Restaurant & Deli, 16650 Ventura Blvd. Coverage begins at 5 a.m. with news anchors Vicky Moore and Chris Sedens. Frank Mottek hosts the KNX Business Hour at 1 p.m., followed by news coverage until 7 p.m. by Diane Thompson and Jim Thornton. “KNX on Your Corner” is presented by Good Neighbor Pharmacy.
