Valley Presbyterian Offers Hands-On Training

Valley Presbyterian Hospital soon will give physicians the opportunity to learn the latest in training tools and technologies by hosting a mobile cadaver lab. The hospital’s hands-on practicum, planned for Oct. 24, will enable participants to learn the latest technological advances in foot and ankle reconstruction by working with cadavers in various training activities. Sponsored by medical device company Synthes, the mobile cadaver lab travels around the country, serving as a learning tool for medical practitioners. Gustavo Valdespino, president and CEO of Valley Presbyterian Hospital, said the lab will serve as another opportunity for hospital physicians to gain knowledge on the “newest and best medical innovations.” “For more than 50 years, Valley Presbyterian Hospital has stayed at the forefront of medicine through this type of training and the use of the latest in technology,” Valdespino said.
