Valley Ad Network to Increase Workforce by 30 Percent

Due to the upswing in ad sales, Sherman Oaks-based Advertise.com plans to expand its workforce by 30 percent over the next two quarters. The company recently acquired a larger working space and is hiring up to accommodate its growing operations. The ad network serves as a platform for advertisers, allowing them to reach consumers through the site’s search engines, publisher partners and content properties. Online ad spending is predicted to grow over 20 percent this year and will reach $50 billion by 2015, according to research publication, eMarketer. Daniel Yomtobian, founder and CEO of Advertise.com, said he and his team have connected nine billion web visitors with advertisers and are setting their sights even higher. “The online ad spending growth is exciting,” Yomtobian said. “Advertisers continue to seek the best ways to reach new customers, and we are well positioned to meet their needs.”
