On Assignment, Inc. a Calabasas-based professional staffing firm, announced the rebranding of its U.S clinical research division under the name Valesta Clinical Research Solutions. The new name aims to promote the company as a global presence in clinical research with a wide range of services while also leveraging the strength in the Western European clinical research brand Valesta, which was acquired by On Assignment last year. In a prepared statement, Emmett McGrath, president of On Assignment’s Life Sciences and Allied Healthcare divisions said the rebranded division presents new opportunity for both the company’s clients and employees. “By unifying the brand we can effectively communicate our enhanced global services that offer new ways to meet the needs of our customers.” McGrath said.
