Northridge Hospital Names New Chief of Staff
Monday, July 23, 2012Northridge Hospital Medical Center has elected cardiologist Dr. Zouheir H. Elias as the new Chief of Staff, according to the hospital. His new title is President of the Medical Staff, which includes more than 800 physicians.
Dr. Elias has held various medical staff positions at the hospital, including serving as the Chairman of the Department of Cardiology from 1998 to 2010. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles and a Professor of Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pomona.
“It’s an honor to serve as the Chief of Staff and I look forward to working closely with the exceptional medical staff – each of whom is committed to providing compassionate and safe care while upholding our longstanding tradition of offering patients unprecedented clinical excellence,” said Dr. Elias in a written statement.
