Simi Valley Hospital Recognized for Excellence Simi Valley Hospital received three awards in the 2012 PRC National Excellence in Healthcare awards program. The hospital was recognized by the health care research firm PRC for its excellence in three categories: immediate supervisor, communication and teamwork within a department. The awards were based on the most recent employee perception survey conducted by the PRC. “These awards confirm the fact that we are continuing to make improvements as an organization,” Sandy Werner, director of human resources at SVH, said in a prepared statement. “Everyone here at the hospital — leadership, employees, medical staff, volunteer — are working hard to make this a better place for our patients and visitors, as well as a better place to work.
