Alabama-based Vulcan Materials Co. is moving its Western headquarters to Glendale from Los Angeles, a relocation that will bring about 90 jobs into the city, the firm told the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. The construction materials producer, which is battling a hostile takeover bid, plans to move into 500 N. Brand in May, occupying nearly 41,000 square-feet of space.
