Image Adds to Catalog with Amity Entertainment Purchase
Friday, May 4, 2012Image Entertainment Inc. added 100 new titles to its catalog following the purchase of the Amity Entertainment library.
Among the films purchased by the Chatsworth-based home entertainment distributor are those starring Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hanks, Jodie Foster, and Robert DeNiro.
“There’s a good mix of comedy, drama, suspense, horror and martial arts included and we are looking forward to releasing them across the various platforms including digital and broadcast,” said Image Chairman and CEO Ted Green in a prepared statement.
Image will begin releasing the Amity titles this summer.
