Easton Sports Gets New Chief Executive

Van Nuys firm Easton-Bell Sports Inc., which designs sports equipment and accessories, has named a new chief executive. Terry Lee, who has been a member of the board of directors since 2000, succeeds Paul Harrington, who is retiring. Lee currently acts as chairman for Bell Automotive Products. He was previously co-owner of Bell Sports and served as chief executive from 1989 to 1999. Tim Mayhew, a managing director of Fenway Partners, LLC, a New York private equity firm and Easton board member since 2004, has been named president and chief operating officer. Mayhew replaces Donna Flood, who has also resigned. “Easton-Bell has a portfolio of renowned brands, well-known for their market leadership in protective and performance products,” Mayhew said in a statement. The company, which operates the Riddell, Easton, Bell, Blackburn and Giro brands, has 32 facilities worldwide.
